BIOGRAPHY

Born on 23 of November in Klaipėda, Lithuania.
In 1978 graduated Klaipėda Secondary school.
In 1981-1985 studied in Art College.
Had been working at kaunas glass factory “Aleksotas”,
later since 1988 as a Glass blower-Artist.
Now works in Glass studio “Stiklo paslaptis” as Artist-Designer.

V. Gibovskio creation is a very multifaceted . Many forms of diverse themes, highly colored,
but it is clear that the charm of his sculptures is incredibly beneficent and sweet temper.
Elfin features of faces, which he awards his glass tale heros, beams with tenderness,

V.Gibovskis created many unique glass ware, various prizes for different kinds of associations.
Some of his glass creations were published in Lithuanian Glass books and newspapers, showed in
various expositions, art salons. His works were also exposed in exhibitions in Germany, Denmark,
Russia, Lithuania. Some of his works are got by several museums.
